In last couple of weeks, I couldn’t concentrate on reading novels. So as usual, I turn to short stories books or poetry books. I was skimming through my copy of Charles Bukowski’s book and wanted to read more of his works. I found On Love, one of his anthology of poems edited by Abel Debrito on Scribd and started reading in past few days. It somehow brought me back my reading momentum.
I usually browse English poems online as it has better accessibility. I own less then 10 poetry books (in English) and about 30 Burmese poetry books. I don’t particularly have a favourite poets but I love Bukowski’s proses and the mix of simplicity and peculiarity in e. e. cummings’ poems. Recently I’ve been obsessively in love with the contemporary poems from the poets of Button Poetry lately.
